The facility was built in 1961 as a women’s prison. It changed to a medium-security center for men in 1997. In 2003, it changed again to a minimum-security facility for men. The last change in 2008 returned it to a medium-security prison for males.
Over the years, it has expanded four times. The first expansion was in 1979 and another in 1981. In 1997, a fourth housing unit was added. A gym was added to the facility in 1987. It has a capacity of 510 men.

Warm Springs Correctional Center also has rules for what pictures an inmate may have and how many pictures may be included in one email. Inmate Photos knows these rules. When you use our service, we send you the current rules for sending pictures to inmates at the prison. You make sure your pictures meet the requirements.
A few of the rules you need to know are:
Inmates are only allowed 10 pictures per envelope. Each image counts as one picture. If you put four pictures on a single page, the WSCC staff counts that as four pictures instead of one.
Inmate Photos can separate your pictures into several envelopes to meet the prison’s limits on mail and pictures. We will mail each envelope several days apart to meet the daily amount-of-mail rules.
The Nevada Department of Corrections has contracted with Corrlinks.com for inmate email services. However, inmates do not have access to emails sent with this service. Instead, all incoming inmate email is opened and read by the prison staff. Staff members then decide what is appropriate and print that. Printed copies are delivered to the men during the daily mail call.
You can email pictures. The staff inspects each picture. If it meets the rules, they print the picture on plain paper as a black and white image.
You can get high-quality color pictures printed on commercial-quality photo paper sent to that important person at Warm Springs Correctional Center. Inmate Photos makes this easy.
Download our app from the website. Review the Terms of Service. We send you a copy of the WSCC rules for sending pictures. You make sure all the pictures you want to send will pass inspection.
Upload your pictures. You can send as many as you like. We make sure each mail does not exceed the daily limit.
Inmate Photos has no hidden fees. Once you upload and decide on the delivery, you see the exact amount you will pay to get your pictures securely delivered to WSCC.
